Baby Shower Card

Hi All!

Happy Monday! Today I have a card and tag that I made for a baby shower to share with you.

I used Papertrey Ink's Sweet Baby set as a focal point for the card and tag. I distressed the animals with pink and tan ink and the card base with white ink. I added bits of pink paper to each animal: the mane to the giraffe, the ear to the elephant, and the heart to the lion. The balloon is from PTI's birthday style- hand cut - and covered with glossy accents.

The tag is made from PTI's mat stack 1 and the tags are from ting tags set. They're mounted on dimensional adhesive so they don't get askew on the bag. Unfortuately, I made and gave this one so I don't have a whole list of supplies.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

Perfect Pearls Celebrate

Hi All!
Today I have a card to share with you that I created using perfect pearls. I used four different colors: gold, copper, silver, and bronze. In person it was so shiny and pretty!

This card was a make and give situation- so I don't have a supply list to share. I do know that I used Papertrey Ink's damask design stamp with versamark and perfect pearls for the focal point. The scallop border is PTI's eyelet lace die and the papers are from my brown scraps folder.

Make It Monday #137: Dimensional Leaf Wreath + Tuesday Trigger

Hi All!

Today I played along with Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #137: Dimensional Leaf Wreath inspiration. You can see the video for the challenge HERE.

At first I thought I didn't have the right supplies to complete this challenge, but then I realized I could use the Rosie Posie leaves in fall colors. I used dimensional adhesive on the tips of the leaves and glued the bases down to the card to give them more of a lift. By creating the contrast in heights for the leaves, the dimension becomes more apparent.

For the background I glued the hexagons down using the hexagon die template as a guide. I was initially planning on using the grid created from the die cut, but I like the look of the hexagons even better.

ETA: I realized that this card would also be perfect for Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger - Enthralled with Fall!!! I love the inspirational pic:
from here

I love the dimension of the leaves in this picture and it goes along with my thought process making this card.
Paper: white card stock, Prima-Breathe collection
Stamps: PTI- modern wood mats, wreath for all seasons, rosie posie; Hero Arts- sew artsy
Ink: PTI- harvest gold, fine linen, canyon clay, scarlet jewel, ripe avocado; Brilliance- coffee bean
Other: PTI- hexagon die plate, rosie posie leaf die

Birdy Just a Note

Hi All!
Today I have a card that I created with Papertrey Ink's Little Bitty Birds stamp set.

I filled in some of the leaves with a copic marker. Also, I added two strips of paper from my scrap stash.  Unfortunately, I created and sent the card quickly- so I don't have a supply list for this one.

Make It Monday #136 - The Second

Hi All,
I loved the Make It Monday challenge for Papertrey Ink so much that I had to make a second card with it!

I chose a peacock color scheme that I love! I think that using the PTI textured stamping technique on the larger background stamp creates a feathery look. The modern basics stamp set was the perfect shape for the peacock look. I dusted the whole surface with sheer glitter spray. I think I might cut it down and mount it on a base, but for now I'll leave it. Need to let it sit and stew in my brain for a while first :)

Paper: white card stock
Stamps: PTI- harvest berries, modern basics
Ink: PTI- true black, spring rain, hawaiian shores, aqua mist, ocean tides
Other: Tsukineko- sheer shimmer spray

Make It Monday #136

Hi All!
I'm back today to share with you a card I made for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #136: textured stamping. You can see the how to video HERE. I absolutely love this card! It is so cheerful!

I think that the textured stamping looks similar to ikat and I like that I can add that look to pretty much any solid stamp.
